Okay everybody, stay calm! stay calm!  Especially those near 50 years old!  Apparently Billy Mays, the informercial dude died today.  You may remember him for the OxiClean commercials the plagued you on late night TV, or the Orange Glo and numerous other as seen on tv items.

All that’s left now is the guy with the Euro/Aussie accent (Sully) and Vince (who recently got busted for beating up a hooker who bit his tounge).  The cause of death seems questionable, they thought it was either a heart attack, or a possible concussion as he may have been hit with some luggage on an airplane due to turbulence.  The said ‘turbulence’ was actually a tire blowing out when the plane landed.  Billy Mays, reportedly, told his wife he did not feel well when he went to bed that night.

50 years old, heart attack….. this sounds so familiar

I was actually kind of enjoying that TV show he was on with… the other dude(Anthony Sullican), called Pitchmen, but I guess they’ll be cutting out any new episodes of that. It was kind of fun to see them trying out other projects and checking the stats to see how one product would do.  They appeared to have a big info center that tracked all their statistics, I don’t know if that was TV BS or if they actually have that setup, but it’s a really cool thing, in my mind.

That actually sucks, cause while his commercials drove me nuts and I’d skip past them he didn’t seem so bad in the Pitchmen series when he wasn’t pushing some random crap. I feel bad for his kid too :(   You can see his twitter blog here, sorry Billy Mays III hang in there.

Condolences to his family and friends!  I hope these recent deaths are definetly a call out to anyone who’s not feeling well in one way or another to see the physician or figure out how to see one.  Even if you can’t afford it there are sometimes grants and other things that will help you out with that.  Don’t just wait if you’re not feeling well!
